    Here's an example of an 1851 $1.00 Gold Stick Pin. The coin is a Type 1 and despite being a VF-XF coin, this is strictly Details now. Some of these coin jewelry pieces are just fascinating to me. It's a shame about the coin but the love someone put into making this for someone special in their life is something I'd like to see more of today. IMG_4960.JPG IMG_4965.JPG

    I know as I had the same thought. I looked very carefully and with a magnifying glass but I couldn't see any signs of one every existing.
