    Got both of these in the same roll,the 43 was an ender and has roller dmg, it gives some ....character. First 1909 vdb I've ever found ..it doesnt look half bad either,cheers

    Is it the back ground that makes the "43" look copper colored?

    No,that is what it looks like

    It's not copper tho,it just has a wierd color from being on the end of a roll for 50 yrs

    Cool finds, but the VDB looks off center. Is that normal?
