    I'm guessing it's a 1913 Type 1 from the mound on the reverse...don't see a mintmark...so I'll guess P!

    Very, very, VERY cool Buffalo. I'll keep an eye out for another. Never know when they'll turn up. Thanks for sharing...

    That's the sort of find that might turn me into roll-searcher...something so tedious that I've consciously avoided thinking about it for forty years or more.

    I understand that's not how it was found (by OP)...but it's been around for a century...SOMEBODY found it first! Imagine the thrill of initial recognition!! I'm giddy with anticipation...

    This is an amazing example. To give you an idea of value, a beater 1924 with the same double strike sold on HA last fall for almost $4k.
