Funny story about it actually. A long time big dealer started bouncing checks to a lot of people and he owed me $2500. I figured I was never going to get any money from this guy since he owed people $100,000+. so I took a look at his inventory of coins and spotted this gem, I knew it was a 67+ just by looking at it so I told him I would forgive his debt for the coin, he agreed. I actually had the coin sitting for over a year raw in a Capitol holder before submitting it. Boy was I surprised when I opened the box from NGC!!!!

 

That Lincoln is a BEAUTY, Mad! And, what a great topic for an ongoing thread. I have a purple (100% purple obverse, 100% white reverse) Barber dime I'll have to post after getting an image (your Lincoln's toning reminds me of it alot). Great coin, great thread!!

That Lincoln is great and it would be hard to pick out of all these coins but I think I like Marauderrt's 1882 trade dollar the best. It's just wow...but then again several of these are now are they not
