Sadly its the way the world is going. I love the saying it's OK to be offended because being offended never really hurt anyone.
it is which is nice in its own sense...however yours was ALMOST a binary repeater. seeing that in my head....WHOA! I put it up there with my 2 ALMOST super repeaters.
some CU ones sold for about $25 on ebay. even though it has been circulated being it's a little older it might be about that still.
If I can remember the Probability and Stats course I took a long time ago, it should be 1/12,000 * 1/12,000 = 1 in 144 million, so I think you're right
Here's a near repeater: 33123317 I could try to see how many bidiots would want to buy this on the bay LOL
My almost repeater "binary". I know it's not 0's and 1's, but seems the binary term is being more widely used now for two digits and "true binary" for 0's and 1's. Or maybe that's just terms for eBay hype, anyways here's my find this morning....
Another almost in the stores money today. I also found a slightly misprinted seal and serial number on another bill. Printed a bit lower. First I've seen, but in rough shape. I kept it still.
Do any of you ever play currency serial number poker? I see lots of passing up bills that will take huge numbers of others.
That version is if you have all night to clean somebody out and aren't willing to play with the cash you have in your wallet (stacked decks and sharks)! How some more barbaric types do it is: Stack up your best-numbered bills for the purpose. Lay them down one at a time, much like the card game "War" Best number takes all. variations: 9 is high, 0 high and many others as numerous as 9 ball will have. Much more kin to flipping coins and calling even or odd as it goes much faster. Lemme tell ya, a royal flush, what you guys call a ladder, broken or unbroken, will pocket many of your radars, bookends, birthdays etc. ;-)
Yeah you were right. I sold it for $20 in the BST section. . Im just not really into notes that much.
If it was a 6-block or a 7-block it would have been good stuff. But as it is, I'll take making 82 cents on a 1 dollar bill over nothing anyday!
