# of Counterfeits at PCGS in last 30 days

Perusing random shared orders, counterfeits seem common among Chinese coins, though my study isn't scientific.

Since you always like to just talk down to people to deflect I'll exit out of this thread at this point. I'm sure I know much more about how the justice system really works and given that wasnt a highly politicized case where appeals would be denied and jurors would vote for self preservation like what does happen I'll keep my opinion.

Unfortunately this hobby has a history of embracing and/or protecting people that it shouldnt. Number one poster child might be Breen

 

You call it talking down. I call it knowing a little more about the circumstances/charges/trial than you do. The fact that you even bring something up that you are ignorant/misinformed about that has nothing to do with this thread is THE ONLY DEFLECTION in this thread and is a PERFECT REASON FOR YOU TO "EXIT!" PS I'm not protecting anyone. Mark was found guilty and served time. That's all you know. Now, If you bother to educate yourself before posting, I'll look forward to reading your comments about any numismatists who have committed crimes. You might want to start with your favorite TPGS!

I understand why you would but I hope you don't. You bring a unique insight to the community. When a thread goes off the rails, move on to the next. Trust the readers to separate the wheat from the chaff.

I appreciate your frustration. But I suspect there is a large silent majority of members following your threads who simply try to ignore the chaff and focus on the wheat. Please, don't let these perennial spats prevent you from continuing to share your research with those who are very interested.
