I had an amazon GC that I decided to use and treat myself to a Morgan dollar.

    Allow me to preface.

I have handled over 500 silver dollars in the raw. I've handled them by the dozens at auctions, searched through rolls with friends, etc.

When I took this dollar out of the holder, it just feels off.

I weighed it, and acid tested it, and it's 90% and 26.70 grams.

However, its the rims that look odd. One part of the rim has narrower reeding that the other.

As you can see on the top photo, the reeding is wider than the reeding on the bottom photo.
