    Hi everyone,
    I recently acquired a small lot of "Octopus man" coins from the Chola dynasty of Southern India and Sri Lanka.
    These coins were first struck by King Raja Raja Chola I( 985-1014 CE), and circulated in southern India, Sri Lanka, and even in Mayalasia to a small extent. King Raja Raja is a rather underrated figure in history.
