Hmmmm - where to begin ? OK, I guess I'll start off with saying basically the same thing most of you have been saying, but I'll be a little more direct. I am thankful for @Peter T Davis ,who without, CoinTalk would not even exist. I am also thankful for all of the good friends I have made over the years right here on CT. There's many of you out there, too many to count ! And lest I forget I better at least mention that I am thankful I am still here for ten years ago an entire handful of doctors told me I wouldn't live another year - but I'm still here Lastly, I would be thankful if a certain somebody would finally step out from behind the curtain he hides behind

Did they post in this old thread?: Should Doug Give Me A "Like"? Anyway, I'm sure all of us are thankful that you post/moderate here and seem to have no beginning or end either. So I'll bet you'll probably get your wish if you finally give Frank a "like" when he posts something you really like.
I'm thankful all you guy are here. This site is really different than the others. We get to have a bit of fun and enjoy coins at the same time.
I'll play! Thankful for CT, the friends I've made here (you guys rock!), and having a place to share my hobby with similarly minded people.
I’m thankful for all the fantastic people on Coin Talk and the fantastic people who make the site possible and moderate our collective foolishness. This is a great place for the best hobby there is. Happy Thanksgiving, one and all!
FWIW, after Irma passed us, and power was finally restored in our area, the first thing I did was look for a restaurant to get a hot meal. Golden Corral was the only restaurant nearby that was open. Like most typical buffets, you paid for your food beforehand. I told the cashier that I would like to pay for two meals "to go" for two of the wheelchair-bound residents at my seniors apartment building. She told me that it was a wonderful thing I was doing, and there would be no charge for the extra meals. Kudos to Golden Corral! Chris
That was most lovely Chris. You are an most admirable soul. Kripes.........can't say enough of what you did, and at a loss of words for the former...........some think you 'grumpy', but I think you 'spectacular'.........
I have you and Chris in the same boat. You are both good men. I'm proud to know both of you. Happy Thanksgiving.
A son who likes numismatics as much as I do. And of course all of the forum that seems like an extended family. If I didn't feel it, I would not spend so much time here. We have the trifecta, Costco, Golden Corral, and Farmer Boys ( Only CA. and NV), for those special lipid needs. Happy Thanksgiving and Black Friday! Jim
I only mentioned my coin Club in my earlier post in my thread. I am thankful for this site and you all too. I have learned much and hope to pass it on. Thanks especially to the GTG guys in the US Coins Forum. I have learned a ton on how to grade Morgans!
And anybody who knows what "Shady Maple" is, also knows what the epicenter of raw coins at live in-person-only auctions is all about.
