    My initial guess would be an S mint coin released into circulation - most likely the quarter, since they've been minting S coins on circulation planchets for a few years now... or the penny, due to its visibility. Would be a circulating W coin for the first time, or simply a low-mintage ala 2009 issue.

    The real key will be the distribution method to ensure as wide a spread as possible so they don't all end up in just a few peoples hands at first. I discussed a method for that on another thread.
