Numismatic paperwork

    I have just received a Proclamation from 1806 detailing the new coinage for Napoleonic Italy - this is a great addition to my typeset of the actual coins however it appears I may have one denomination missing :banghead:

    Anyone else collect associated paperwork?

    Neat! I have one of the 5 lire coins issued pursuant to this decree:

    Nice example, there are a few varieties for the 1808M and your coin appears to be the more common version of the Type 2.

    My example is 1814M, also Type 2.

    Wow, that is very interesting! I also collect the related "paperwork" when I can find it. I hit a small cache of related material in December, but I haven't had a chance to read and image it all yet. Most of these are multiple pages, so I have only included a cropped image of the first page of the two that I have processed.
