After searching through all the garbage, got these, mostly not to leave empty-handed:</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]1027881[/ATTACH]</p><p>Gallienus – GALLIENVS AVG / SOLI CONS AVG – Pegasus springing left</p><p><br /></p><p>Because I have always wanted a Pegasus coin, and Gallienus is one of the cheapest and closest solution for this, considering the “target”.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]1027882[/ATTACH] </p><p><br /></p><p>Constantius II - DN CONSTAN-TIVS PF AVG / FEL TEMP RE-PARATIO – Cyzicus mint (dot SMK epsilon) – Barbarian reaching, with Phrygian helmet, no beard</p><p><br /></p><p>To add to my FTR-FH collection</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]1027883[/ATTACH]</p><p><br /></p><p>Theodosius II - DN THEODO-SIVS PF AVG / cross - Cyzicus mint (SMKA)</p><p><br /></p><p>Because I am building a “bridge” between the LRBs, mostly former uncleaned, and the byzantines. This one has a readable legend and mintmark. Difficult to make a proper photo of such a small coin.</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]1027884[/ATTACH]</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]1027885[/ATTACH]</p><p><br /></p><p>And two anonymous folles – one class B, with an interesting overstrike on the reverse, and one class A2, type 11, which shows that dots are connected (see link below for type 11). I will open a separate thread on fakes, because I became curious on the byzantine fakes after this experience. The guys at stands 1 and 317 had the Justinian I – NIK A – XII fake for sale. What was not so fun is that I asked them both if the coin is fake (already knew the answer) and both confirmed the coin is fake. Yet, both had the coins with a nice description and a price tag of 100+ EUR.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Overall, I got some (interesting for me) junk, and will most probably not return next year.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
