It's mine, purchased from CT member valentinian. He has a variety of interesting coins for sale here: http://augustusmath.hypermart.net/coinlist.html as well as a website with various articles and information about ancient coins. http://esty.ancients.info/
Unless CoinTalkers who don't live in Eurasia move there, we will have to keep trading modern money for our ancient coins
Living in Florida, it may be somewhat difficult to find any ancient coins anywhere nearby. I travel to Europe at least once every year, but it's rather difficult to get involved in a dig or metal detecting.
aha ... yeah i agree with you ... here we got alot of ancient places and coins and still you can find old coin every time
Your coin has inspired me to do a little research into this culture, which I previously knew nothing about. It would seem the bronzes of Numidia are quite scarce, although I haven't gotten the hang of discerning between the coins of Masinissa and his son Micipsa yet. The wiki article on Masinissa seems good, if brief, but I wouldn't know how accurate it was... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masinissa
there is books about numidian coins and how to know the different between massnissa coin and his sun masicipa and its on the symbole under the horse on coin each of those symbols means the name of the king
