Now want to pay in silver

There are a group of us...like 4 or 5 friends that always use silver as payment to each other...silver and beer.

The looks I get when offering something with real intrinsic value. I do often end up with the better deal.

 

Who pays for candy and soda at the movies? That's what your significant other's purse is for!

 

Somehow, this does not surprise me.

 

I live in a small city in Indiana, pop about 7,000, about 40 miles from the closest big city. Our theater is a small two screen affair but does get first run movies. Tickets are $6 or $4 for the Sunday matinee which is what I attend, medium drink is $3 and medium popcorn is $4. Get both it's $6. Large drink is $4 and large popcorn is $5, get both it's $8. But the large popcorn is really more than I want. They used to have a small candy thrown in on those combos as well but they took that out.
