Oops almost forgot- the grand daddy of them all. The infamous $40 chip (1.75 oz silver)

 

These are fun. I remember when these same out in Vegas. You could win them from quarter slot machines.

 

Yeah, before the video took over anything, special machines gave these out as prizes. I haven't seen one in a couple decades.

 

Supposedly there are 2 casinos in the whole country that still do these. Im pretty sure they give out clad tokens though. There IS no more silver, the well is dry. Its a good thing i didnt discover these machines earlier. I would have went broke trying to win. I wonder just how much $$ some players have spent, chasing these things. I usually pay about $9-$10 each. Unless its one that i REALLY want. Would like to get more of the $40 tokens but they have gone up in value even though silver has gone down. Sometimes you CAN get lucky and find those in a dealers stock who doesnt pay attention to the denomination
