Try paying the kids at cash registers today ( I have ) and they think it's play or fake money. "Excuse me while I ask the manager about this".
Oh yeah and I still do it. If I can't make a million bucks for spilling hot McDonald coffee in my lap I'll wait until I get arrested for passing phony $2.00 bills.
When I worked as a staffer at the most recent National Scout Jamboree, this frequently happened at the main trading post. Most of the other cashiers would look at you like you had lobsters crawling out of your ears if you attempted to pay with one.
our bottle redemption pays in $2.00 bills when I use them they think I've been to strip club only other place that uses $2.00 bills! LOL
Ever tried to teach one of those kids how to count back change when the register won't tell them how much to give you??? Don't try unless you enjoy frustration!!! Listen to this voice of experience!!!!!
Your bill is $2.05 and you hand them a five dollar bill. When the register opens give them the nickel and watch them struggle. I had one clerk hand me the change the machine told them, then they handed me the change I gave them and they told me I gave them too much. Lol
My father in law had 500 $2 bills taped to the bottom side of the door I think he thought that they would be worth something, some day we found them when he passed.
Pretty sure he meant drawer, but who knows? LOL No matter, 500 would make a very thick bundle to be taped anywhere.
Dont forget when your out yard sailing to check out the hidden compartments in furniture. New and old. Desks and dressers.
I have a wallet full of deuces right now, I use them all the time. They are really popular tips at restaurants(except one restaurant in Vero Beach where the waitress yelled at me for using "fake" money.)
