2005 West Virginia state quarter not sure whether it's not got its coating or layiering or wrong planchet or what it is but I got it in Pocket Change. And I've got a 1978 same color and everthing. 1516259422252240166601.jpg 1516259320092-1558623091.jpg what ya think? Any ideas?

Its unheard of unless to an engravers ear and pocket and or very close friend. I mean real close to be given and illegally minted coin. And dont say where because they where minted everywhere. Had to be to be this especial. Now can you fathom?

    environmental damage
to the surfaces of the coin.

    It happens more often that
    you'd think - liquids, washing
machines, etc. etc. can cause it.

    Please remember than just because
a coin you find in change looks a bit
'different' doesn't mean it's an error coin.

Things happen to coins in circulation.
