Not sure what this coin is made out of, but it's a1994 D an it's the size of a nickel

    You aren’t supposed to do multi posts. You already posted this coin. And questions about it earlier. You should wait till the people that know about this gets online. To me it looks like damage

    It is damaged trust me. If you know it’s not damaged then why ask the question? It’s the zinc. A true zinc penny missing the copper plating would look like this. Notice how it has luster 5F85667B-ACE3-473F-928D-2E392183701B.jpeg
    Yours is damaged and very dull. No shine.
    Here is something to look at if you don’t believe me, almost looks exactly the same as yours 4FBDACB0-5472-4C4E-A729-CB9601972A0F.jpeg

    weigh it and what's the rim look like ....
    I see no signs of copper layers being hammer off ...

    Probably cause it was in a fire and the metal expanded under great heat. I can tell it looks like zinc. If it was struck on a plantchet that wasn’t intended for this coin, it wouldn’t look like straight up zinc. It looks like zinc.
