All I'll say to this (for everyone else, because I should be on someone's ignore list by now) is that 98% of the coins I buy come from coin dealers, either in person on online. I rarely post pictures of the coins I find for them that I have no interest in purchasing (which I just tell them about and let the coins go.) It's not like I'm buying coins from Gramma and Grampa, who don't know anything about their coins and have asked me for help. So let's not make it out that I'm intentionally deceiving people. Just a poll of a few of my consignors I've had will tell you I ALWAYS tell them if I find a valuable variety in their coins.

I'm not going to apologize for educating myself on Cherrypicker's Guide varieties, or for looking at so many foreign coins most people's heads would spin, or for guessing right on more than a few occasions, or for collecting series that I believe are undervalued (Jeffersons.)

If someone from a poor family who served 6.5 years in the military to serve his country, then chose a career goal (as a teacher first and artist second) that many ridicule but enables him to serve younger people as a teacher, and who finds a hobby that allows him to make enough money to pay his bills...is an example of how morality in our society is failing, then I seriously wonder how this person would react if they ever watched the news or left their house.

(No, I'm not Mother Theresa. There are also a few small dings slightly to the right of the 3rd column, all very minor and none crossing over a step line. I believe what you are seeing is a reflection of either the toning or the metal that the camera is picking up as a scratch...kind of like a "woodie" wheat cent...because under 10x magnification, there isn't a scratch there. I apologize that my photos haven't quite captured it - always a work in progress.
