At first I thought it might be one of those dryer coins but it weighs out at 3.76 also the rim seems to be a different metal.... anyone know whats going on here.

not sure what that means, it is a copper coin so shouldnt it be surrounded be a copper bezel and does that make it a mint error coin, a variety?

    Google Coin Bezel

Not a Mint error at all. Just a novelty item.

Now if it was a DDO, I wouldn't have seen that bezel! ;)

A bezel is a frame put around a coin, usually with a loop attached so that the coin can be worn from a chain.
