Came across this on eBay and while it's not exactly a coin, it's still some coin history. It's from 1929 and shows the different types of US coins in circulation during this time. The coins themselves are tin foil. I can't wait to get this in hand!

I don't speak German but know some of my cousins do.

Nice. I bet these were possibly cheat sheets for converting payments from international travelers. Calling @micbraun for some German translation :)

Unfortunately it looks like they were glued to a book or display though, ruining the backs to various degrees :(

I'm thinking this falls firmly into the category of "exonumia" and as such is quite worthy of Forum inclusion. :)

These were picturecards coming with sigarette packs and meant to be collected and glued in an album. On the back, among else, it reads that the collection album can be bought by sending 1 Mark in stamps to the firm.

The Washington quarter didn't come in until 1932. These coins were in circulation in 1929.

They do show a Morgan. I don't think there was a lot of peace in Germany in 1929.

    It's not a full collection I'm guessing.

Not sure why you think so, but up to you. The Richard Greiling AG was a cigarette manufacturer, and apparently those "coin cards" were in the cigarette packs. Another Greiling series, by the way, was The World's Most Beautiful Women. :)
