I feel that many older Norwegian coins are under-appreciated. So many low mintage coins, even entire series with low mintage across the board. 1/2 specie daler 1836 - partial hole, but with only 4,000 minted I'll take it in whatever shape I can get it in Specie daler 1847 Specie daler 1857 Krone 1908 (hammers on shield variety) - also photographed a 50 ore 1909 that looked like this, but more luster. Pictures didn't upload to Photobucket for some reason. 2 kroner 1906 - sharp and colorful, unfortunately someone etched a letter "R" into the upper left of the obverse. 2 skilling 1810 - relatively common coin, but this one is the most superb example I have ever seen. 5 ore 1918 and 1945 - they keys!
these are amazing. I have the coin with the hands shaking, but your is in better grade with very cool toning.
They have nice designs and low mintage. I think here is much potential in the future for these older Norwegian coins
