    Hello all,
Two days ago I purchased this 1964 Silver Norwegian 10 Krone for $15. I don’t know anything about it other than melt on it was $14 (20g @ 90%) but it’s a good looking coin in very nice condition so home with me it came.

Looking closer at it I believe the letters in the word ‘Krone’ are doubled. When I looked around on the web (it’s listed as KM #413) I couldn’t find anything about this variety. All the pictures I could find show lettering with no doubling.

Don’t know if it’s worth anything but it’s high on the coolness factor.

Looking for any thoughts or additional information. As always when appreciate the help.

Yup, looks like die doubling to me, complete with notching. Just seems like something that many collectors of World Coins are not sensitive to. I like it!

I say yes to Doubled Die variety.. No to double die.
See if you can figure that one out.

The "R" is more than doubled. It almost looks like one strike was in a different font or different size. It's both inside and outside the main/final strike.
