I was excited to see it; I remember mentioning it in the other thread. We decided to clear the top of his case for viewing. Like it never even happened, though it now will live on eternally here <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie1" alt=":)" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /> Needless to say though, that when prior to the vibe killer he had seemed more amiable to my offer, afterward he only wanted cash, and I know it seemed higher than retail because he knows I wanted a National from my hometown. Then again, they were part of his personal stash, and they were GEM. Then again, THEY were GEM, meaning he had duplicates... I didn't share it at the time, but I had an awkward moment at that show. Check it out: I was trying to negotiate a possible trade + cash for a National note from my hometown. Then again, they were part of his personal stash, and they were GEM. Then again, THEY were GEM, meaning he had duplicates... Maybe next time. :) Some of you may remember a certain memorable purchase.... ;). So are there any other fellow Minnesotan CT members attending? Or am I really as far out in the sticks as I deny I am? :). Conveniently slated for the Saturday on my weekend off, on 4-20-13.
