No Date German coin

    Local German issue C.1917 - 20

    It says small change substitute on one side, the other has the location but it's not a good enough picture to read all of it, State of somewhere, anyway.

    It could be 10 Pf. or 10 Marks, extreme inflation made one much the same as the other in a matter of a year or two, and it got much worse.

    You might find more about it as a 'notgeld coin'

    Looks to say "MAGISTRAT DER STADT DRIESEN" -- Driesen is the German name for a town in modern-day Poland. It was a part of Germany until after WW2.

    Thanks I found it interesting due to shape and no date.
    Here is one more I found. I Thought it was neat. I'm guessing this one is a medal?

    10 Pfennig notgeld coin plus a local souvenir medal from before WWI.
