NICE Galba @ro1974 , good strong portrait. My Bronze is pretty beaten up... RI Galba AE Sestertius SPQR - O.B - CIV.SER in Wreath
Nice Ceres Galba ro1974, Is it a sestertius or As? I've got a Ceres As, minted between July 68-Jan 69 AD, 29mm, 10.94gm, RIC 291. I believe your type and mine both rare.
My sestertius has been with me since 1990 but I m not the one that used it as a pocket piece resulting in the polished and worn surfaces.
Congrats @ro1974 ----That's a great portrait of the 'grumpy old dude' !! Guys, I LOVE all the 'big bronze' posts of Galba!!!
