Guess that is why they are a little careful when you ask them about the &quot;availability&quot; date. But I suppose that, once the coins are issued, the AMK will have them right away.</p><p><br /></p><p>As for the Dag van de Munt, you&#039;ll have another chance to go ... in about a year. <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie1" alt=":)" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />&nbsp; It is quite interesting especially if you have not been to the mint in Utrecht before, because you can see designers work on those big plaster models, watch actual coins being made, and so on.</p><p><br /></p><p>If you plan to buy any of the special sets (Dag van de Munt Set, Themaset, Muntrolpakket ...), get up early and be there early; op is op. Otherwise, coming around noon or in the early afternoon is fine and helps avoiding the lines.</p><p><br /></p><p>Now if your primary interest is checking out the dealers booths and possibly buying coins from one of the dealers, the Dag van de Munt is a great occasion. But there are others, such as the Muntmanifestatie in Assen (19 Sep 2009) or the Holland Coin Fair in Den Haag (12-13 Feb 2010).</p><p><br /></p><p>As for what coins are issued, I guess that the mint will always be interested in making new pieces, but the government may have other ideas. <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie2" alt=";)" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /> Last year for example it first looked as if no collector coins would be issued at all.
