I got these a while back for around spot except for the bronze one. I was bidding on it hoping it was a silver one as the picture was not that good. I think it was $35, the others about silver at the time. I always liked Nixon and actually voted for him in 1992. Just thought I would post some pictures as I am playing with a camera. One thing, the Franklin Mint sure did quality work! I attached photo's of individual pieces and also a letter that came with one of them.

  3. Cool medals. I like the dual profile obverse. You were probably the only person that voted for Nixon in 1992. :D TC

Nixon ran in 92? I must have been too involved in college "activities" at the time to notice.

Yep! I voted for Nixon in '68 & '72, but decided not to vote for him in '92.

In '92, Nixon was tanned, rested and ready.

I suppose it would be veering into political discussion if I were to speculate about the actual PM content of these medals, as opposed to their surface appearance.

These medals were produced by the Franklin Mint. The large bronze is in my collection and I received it as a Christmas gift in 1973. It cost $10 at the time.
