I don't know... it was just the first thing I could think of that fit your requirements. The "best" car I ever owned reliability-wise was a 325i, and because of this I'll never speak ill of BMW. Other than expected upkeep and having to change the thermostat every six months like clockwork for the last few hundred thousand miles, I never had to do much of anything to it; she was like the energizer bunny. After hitting 400k though, she was getting a bit rough around the edges though, so off she went to a new home. A couple years after selling it, I saw her still trucking around and, oh, it warmed my heart... Audi I've never owned, but did consider one before buying my Legacy GT. Certainly nice cars, but didn't quite fit what I wanted. Same with BWM this time around. I'll always love them.... but I'm not that much a fool and we'll understand my "limitations".
