LOL yes it's post mint damage and you guys are cracking me up. It's nice to have a pair of brothers on the forum...my little brother is 8 and I got him started searching rolls of cents. I'll get him onto the forum someday!

It was definitely post mint damage.
Look at the picture of the Mint mark and imagine that there were two different D-- but close together.
Why not pick up a copy of Cherrypickers Guide-- they show some clear RPM's.

You have been, those rolls you were searching were mine, I switched them.

 

LOL, I'm not that mean. It's his money that's buying the rolls he searches anyways. . I just get the rolls for him from the bank. I just showed him what to look for and as of now he has a pretty big pile of wheaties and some oddities. Occasionally he'll come to me with a question about a penny he found and I'll help him out, but other than that he's pretty much on his own after I bring the rolls home.
