    Hi good morning everyone I just see this in my wallet and I’m not sure if this is Capped die obverse and reverse? I need little opinion please. Thank you so much..

    Damage e.t.c not an error,spend it while the design still remains.

    Not a capped die, but I understand why it could be confused as one.

    Looks like it has been sandblased or something for a very long time to wear down all the details. Not an error.

    Someone put that Nickel in a rock tumbler for a very long time. Not a mint error. :(

    Extremely worn coin. For a Jefferson to be that worn, it had to been done on purpose, or ???.

    Furry and Paddy have you pointed in the right direction. May have spent time in both operations. Blasters, tumblers, vibratory tumblers are classic spots for 'shop' experiments. To get it as worn as what you have there, it was subject to a more extended experiment. Interesting outcome you have there, but a spender.
