Nickel 1964 D crack and double D?

    Just got two 1964 D nickles in register. One have some mark, like crack, but I'm not sure what is that. Second I think have double D mint mark. I'm still on work so sorry for bad picture resolution IMG_20190515_161651.jpg IMG_20190515_161736.jpg IMG_20190515_161533.jpg

    Looks like a big scratch to Meow. And the RPM might be MD, but Meow is not too sure. The RPM looks a bit on the promising side. But the big scratch, if indeed it is one, ruins the coin enough rendering the value to a spender. At least that's what Meow thinks.

    That is a scratch. You can tell because there is coin metal pushed out and along the edge of the scratch. If it had been a die crack, the coin metal would have filled the crack and appear raised in the center of the crack.
