Nicely aged Fredrick Prussian medal from 1757 from an eBay purchase for $20

    What do you all think? I really liked how this one weathered with time, I think it's got an pleasing aging look to it. Cool that these are actually from the said year of 1757 as well and not a later time. 20201010_005229-0.jpg 20201010_005204-0.jpg

    Whoa. That one's sure seen the march of time, hasn't it? I dunno if I'd say nicely aged, though aged it certainly is! It's a bit rough.

    But on the other hand, I get what you're saying. It has that aura of history to it, and it looks all of its 263 years. And, if you like it for twenty bucks, why not? How big is it, diameter-wise?

    You can tell that was once a pretty intricate design. And even that rough example is pretty interesting.

    Curiosity made me Google up some other examples, to see what they looked like. I saw pieces priced anywhere from $80-170 in better condition.
