Nice xf problem free 1804 bust quarter on ebay

after looking at several other examples of the b1/d2 obverse with similar wear patterns..i will concede and agree that the curls have been boinked with.

Definitely looked tooled when you compair the "remaining" hair detail with the assocated wear on the rest of the coin.

 

I dont doubt the tooling...probably semantics but I disagree with the 'extensive'...this is extensive tooling:













The original posted coin is pretty subtle and not a completely scuplted work from a near slug.
