Nice Mexican coin

Hallo my friends. I got a nice Mexican coin yesterday. It is 20 centavos 1935. I paid $22 for it.

From my reading last year of the mintage ~20 million.

 

Cool coin, I'm afraid you might have overpaid just a bit. My 2014 World Coin Catalog says it's worth $20.00 in BU condition.

I didnt know Mexico made nice coins

 

Mexico makes many nice coins. I am quite taken with the Libertads and Onzas.

My 2013 has it listed as $145 in BU. I think you are looking at the price on the silver 20 Centavos KM# 438. Coin above is KM# 437 Bronze. Only made in 1920 and 1935

 

Nice coin. I have been trying to find the 1920 in Au for a long time at a price that won't choke me.

Nice coin. $22 was alot, at least for me...but then again it might be a low mintage coin. Nice pickup.

 

OH my dear fellow...I do believe I must disagree...Mexican Coinage is some of the most beautiful in the world. Their mint alone is older than our country and have been producting intricate and detailed designs for hundreds of years. Below is an example of, not only a beautiful coin, but one with more silver content than our American Morgan Dollar.
