I asked about half dollar rolls at the bank. They didn’t have any. The teller said she had $3 worth, however. Out of only those six coins, I expected nothing. Instead I got two 90%, two 40%, and two clads! They were: 1961, 1964, 1968-D, 1969-D, 1989-P, and 1996-P. That 1961 Franklin half is the first Frankie I’ve found in circulation in over 45 years as a collector!
One time I did that and I got six Walkers. The teller asked me if that was ok. I thanked him and ran out like I robbed the place.
That’s quite the haul from your bank. I’d be making more trips to them if they have that kind of stuff. Congratulations.
Nice one! Better luck than the 4 boxes of halves I just picked up in the rain this morning...skunk city. At least I got a work out...and a shower at the same time.
