Side note Just for fun, a note from the last coin show. One dealer had one of these in his showcase, listed as a 'Bobby Head'. Another guy & I kept asking who Bobby was? I am not sure that he got the joke.
I think Leadfoot has it right. The N-11 has the long parallel lips known as Longmouth (Obverse 10) with the 9 a little high and leaning right and the outer leaf at E folds under the adjoining leaf like Reverse F rather than the distinct tip of the N-15 with the same Obverse but matched with Reverse J. The doubling is wrong, but it may actually have minor doubling from the strike which is hiding the diagnostic. It's a great coin and thanks for the opportunity to practice attribution of a middle date.

No I do not mind. And you convinced me it is an N-11. And where newcomb got - 6th star nearly over point of coronet I will never know.
I would agree wit N-11. When you look at the L in comparison to the front edge of the coronet the only ones that come close are 11 and 12 and since the browlock is not away from the forehead (N-12) that only leaves N-11.
