I picked this up at the Garden State Numismatic Association Coin Convention today. I don't get to see many laminations on quarters. No great value but fun to collect. I know the pictures are poor, but I work with what I have.

Anyone have any quarter laminations they would like to show?

How do you determine if the lamination occurred before or after a strike?

Look at the coin. The entire design is present so the missing metal (the lamination) occurred before the coin was struck. If part of the design was missing the lamination occurred after the coin was struck.

Hope everyone can see the lamination error? Let me know if this is ordinary.
