Just one more little thing, and I 'm sure this applies to all TPG's. Do not not send your coins or currency in 'STAPLED' 2x2's or sealed containers or anything difficult for them, or anyone else, to unpack. Send them in 2x2's with elastic bands around them and in a plastic food baggie with plenty of protecting material to prevent getting jostled during shipment. You sure don't want to chance the coin or currency being damaged.
Boy, I think everyone has covered just about everything there is for you to know about shipping coins or currency to TPG's.
Good luck and much success in getting higher grades that what you're expecting.

    Registered Mail Accountability

I was the national subject matter expert for USPS Registered Mail prior to retiring in June of 2009, and helped write the regulations that are now in place. I can tell you that there is strong accountability of ALL domestic Registered Mail within the Postal Service, not just packages.

I have dealt with Registered Mail issues for my entire 40 years in the service, and have come across every imaginable issue. If Registered Mail originated within the US, or the US Military oversees, every employee within the Postal Service who handles it has to sign for it, and they can be fired if it gets lost while in that persons position if the Postal Inspectors can determine that he/she was the last one to sign for it, and they can.

There is a reason why banks send large amounts of currency by Registered Mail, just as precious metal dealers do.
