NGC Slabbed Lincoln

Take a look at token slabs if you want to find lots of errors like that and worse. Some errors can be found with absolutely no knowledge of tokens. I haven't wasted my time looking at many token slabs lately, but when they first hit ebay, I would estimate that the error rate was in the 5 to 10% ballpark. If there were 10 to 20 token slabs up on ebay, usually 1 or 2 had mistakes. The label maker can not be blamed for all of the errors either, as there are certain dies used to make Civil War tokens that I have yet to see NGC make a correct identification. There is more than one person there that is not doing a good job. Copying letter sequences from a token to a label must be a far more difficult task than I imagine it to be.
