I recently mailed a submission to NGC. These are all new acquisitions from either last months WFOM in Chicago or CONA from the following week in Ohio. Since I didn't have any of these imaged and my photo skills aren't the best I figured I would pay the $8 per coin. These are all coins that I feel were "better" coins that I didn't mind spending a few extra bucks on.

For those of you that don't know. NGC photographs these prior to grading. One thing that I like is that in addition to the below photos they include the photos without the NGC background.

Let me know what you think of these photos and if you have had experience with Photo Vision. Overall I am pleased with the results. Some people call these glamour shots. I agree to a certain extent. They do make the coin as appealing as possible. The lighting is perfect or at least close to it which is the biggest benefit to me. I have a hard time getting the lighting correct. This isn't something for just any coin, IMHO, but neither is professional grading.

#1

German States

BRUNS.-LUNE.-CALEN.-HANN.

1724 EPH Thaler

Obverse: Crowned shields in cruciform

Obverse Legend: GEORGIUS - D • G • MAG • BR • - FR • ET • HIB • - REX • FID • D •

Reverse: Wildman with tree in right hand

Reverse Legend: BRUN • & • LUN • DUX • S • R • I • A • R • THES • & EL •

Ruler: George Ludwig

Note: Dav. #2077.

Composition: Silver

ex Henry Christensen

#2

German States

SCHLES.-HOLSTEIN-GOTTORP

1669 1/16 Thaler

Obverse: Tall bust right breaks inner circle at bottom

Reverse: Inscription in 4 lines

Composition: Silver

#3

German States

SILESIA-LIEGNITZ-BRIEG

1673 6 Kreuzer

Obverse: Silesian eagle, crown above, (VI) below

Obverse Legend: MONETA NOV.
