Between MS-60 and MS-70 (11 grades) it is many times subjective, and done best by persons really familiar with grading mint-state coins. MS-60 and above pretty much assume no wear on the coin.</p><p><br /></p><p>MS means Mint State, which is another way of saying uncirculated (no wear).</p><p><br /></p><p>BS is Business Strike, which covers all circulating coins.
