Last night I won the last coin I needed to complete a set I started In the Spring of 2022. The plan was simple, get 1 coin from each decade. I ended up with the following: 1838-O Fine 12 1840-O Vf-20 1853 XF-40 1860 AU-50 1873NA AU-53 1886-S AU-55 1891-O AU-58 Now I have spent several months thinking where I might go next. Here are 3 options I am considering. 1. Add 6 coins. 3 coins with the Wreath Reverse and 3 with the Cereal Reverse. The coins I ended up with feature lower grades on the Wreath coins and higher grades on the Cereal reverse coins. I guess I could focus on more common date coins for the Wreath coins and more rare dates for the Cereal coins. 2. Just do some opposite mints. That would also mean 6 coins but I would add a 30's Philly, 40's Philly, 50's O-mint or S mint, 60's S-mint, 70's S or CC mint, 80's Philly mint, 90's Philly or S mint. 3. By accident I ended up with 6 different but increasing steps in grade. I could just fill in some of the other grades and turn it into a grading set. At this point I guess I would look at adding F-15, VF 30/35, XF-45, and 1 or more mint state coins. I would be curious what other collectors think of these options or if you see an approach I haven't considered. James
