No lettering on the spine as in later years.</p><p><br /></p><p>Oh, and yeah, the folders: one XF, the other VF 1909-1940. One needed a little boost with some white glue where the paper was starting to separate from the board. I treat the covers of old folders with Behold furniture polish, and then it's gloves only after that. Then in a Zip Loc bag - FOREVER!!! Mua ha ha!!!</p><p><br /></p><p>There was also a decent Lincoln memorial folder with shiny new pennies, but penned in dates (I hate that! I had a teacher who would publicly mock students that wrote in books. I've assumed her disdain on this point, I guess), grrrr! 1959-71-s, meh! And one plain-no dates folder that was in a fight with a moose or something. Only 2/3 there, punch-throughs, with 20 absolutely pointless wheaties from the 50s, some close to BU - yippie! TEN cents, instead of FOUR! But, as I said. Nice to have for making mailers!</p><p><br /></p><p>Now, if you'll excuse me, my new puppies are due for a bath.
