Just caught the end of a story about our elected idiots in Washington, starting another push for dollar coin usage. A very quick glimpse of a silver coin, looks to be the size of a quarter. With a completely different looking side. Does anybody know what will be on the sides? And why can't they figure out it has to be a little larger than a quarter for the general public to accept grudgingly.
Are you sure it wasn't a Susan B. Anthony dollar? There's still a ton of these "slightly larger than a quarter" coins that are trying to be dumped on an unaccepting public.
No it is a new one or anther design that had either a liberty on it or a statue of liberty on one of the sides. You know how the news is general news stories they give 10 seconds too! And some idiot on dancing or signing with the stars they go on for ever about on the news. But it wasn't a Suzie B, it was silver and they showed in God we trust on the edge. It was an ABC local station in Detroit and there is nothing on their web site yet.
