I asked him about the edges and there wasn't any, and I asked him to drop the coin for silver sound. He did post the coin on Forvm and got one reply stating the same that it's suspect. Its just waiting for a reply from Alegandron.

Low weight (3.0g), color is not a rich silver color, it sounds the same as silver (tested it against several OTHER denarii), as earlier I stated it was one of the first denarii I purchased, and got in at a "reasonable" price. However, Seller seems not to have specialized in Ancients. Seller not anxious to resolve being that it was purchased several years ago, but let the question open...
