I rather feel sorry for her on account of that business with Theodora. I know political ties have been strengthened by marriages all throughout history, but she got the raw end of that deal.

I like the coin John, but in context. If I had a more worn version of her, or if I were studying details of her coinage, I would really like it. For my only Helena, I am not sure I would pick that one. I am with Doug, I would have picked a pleasant F instead. It is very much a personal preference, and a preference depending on what you wish to do with a coin. If you just want an attractive coin, usually worn coins will photograph better than porous ones. However, if you wish to study detail, yours is a far superior choice. For $20 nowadays, you didn't get hurt.
