    My favorite 20th century U.S. coin. You just can't beat these in MS. If you save enough money up, a proof version will really knock your socks off!

    I opted for a 1944 Merc for my type coin, as well- it was my mother's birthyear.

    I paid $31 after shipping fees, which is a price I was willing to pay for it. I probably could have gotten a better price on another coin in the same grade, but I'm very particular about the slab as well....
