Newbie With Strange Dime

    Hi! I am a newbie to coin collecting, but I am trying to learn. I spotted a strange looking 1984 P Dime. I think it may be missing the cladding, but I am not sure. Can anyone give me some insight as to what is up with this dime? I photographed it next to a 1966 dime to illustrate the difference in color. Thank you in advance for any and all help.

    Sorry but that is not a Mint Error.. It is Environmental Damage
    The Clad surface changed color due to exposure to the elements most likely being buried. I have found hundreds like your. Dime metal detecting.

    A true Missing Clad layer Mint Error usually just happens on one side of a Clad coin.
