Interesting error and would appreciate feedback. Obverse has a planchet flaw, with partial split. The coin is thicker than normal as it has the addition of a thinner section. Inside the split there appears a weak image of the obverse. The reverse is perfect on the thin laminated part of the flan
paddyman48 Reverse is perfect How would the separation occur? In the rim shot the thicker edge is the correct coin thickness, and the thinner part (partial split) is joined and adds extra thickness over and above the norm.
