Interesting error and would appreciate feedback.

Obverse has a planchet flaw, with partial split. The coin is thicker than normal as it has the addition of a thinner section. Inside the split there appears a weak image of the obverse. The reverse is perfect on the thin laminated part of the flan

You really need to show both sides of your coin.
    Looks like damage to me.

    Reverse is perfect
How would the separation occur? In the rim shot the thicker edge is the correct coin thickness, and the thinner part (partial split) is joined and adds extra thickness over and above the norm.

Thanks Paddy. I've been travelling the seven seas ;)

What about the damage on the reverse?

Is it worth getting slabbed? Value?

    Thanks
